A new student group at Washington High School is tackling the tough issues and making a difference. The Life Mentors are a subset of the school's peer mentor program. The 20 members were specially recommended by their peer mentor homeroom teachers for the position. More

April 23, 2010, Mishawaka – At a packed vigil to commemorate National Child Abuse Prevention Month on April 22 in Beutter Park in Mishawaka, Prevent Child Abuse St. Joseph County board president Ellen Kyes unveiled the winner of the 2010 Roofsit logo contest.  The creator of the winning design is Allyson Carter, a Penn High School Senior.
